Link: Beastie Boy, MCA, Dies at 47


Beasties Boys’ rapper MCA, real name Adam Yauch, passed away this morning.

In 2009 he announced that he was being treated for cancer, and he had since undergone surgery and radiation therapy.

GlobalGrind confirmed the sad news. Yauch was 47 years old.

He co-founded the Beastie Boys in 1979 along with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc. The Beastie Boys were just inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last week.
